Why is my firefox asking me to use Open With? It should open auto. I can't even open webpages without being redirected, how do i remove this virus?

i got the same issue on another laptop. I had to uninstall firefox and reinstall it back.. make sure to backup ur bookmarks and write down all ur addons to redownload/install

when it asks "open with" just select firefox and "remember this choice"

this doesnt work bud.. but nice suggestion.
http and https files is where it gets stuck.. it might be a virus.. but i dunno.. i stumbled into this problem as well.. pisses me off and so i just reinstalled firefox.. lost all my saved pwds n shit.. sucked.

once you get into Firefox do this:
1. Click the Tools->Options menu item.
2. Click the Advanced page.
3. Click the General tab.
4. Check the "Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser" checkbox.
5. Click the Check Now button.
6. Click OK.
