Feels weird. Him and my wife are spending the night at her mother's house. I miss the lil man already, even the cranky crying for god knows what he wants.

I should break out some Ben & Jerry's and start watching chick flicks, lol.

Before he popped into this world, I would've taken this opportunity to call up the guys and have us a boys night out, stumbling home just in time to beat the sun coming up. Now I'm just looking forward to watching the braves and then having some precious uninterrupted sleep.

Wow man, 2 weeks?? That would be pretty hard for me to do. His cries wake me up on the dot at 5:30am, but his laughter makes up for that part. Going to be weird when I wake up tomorrow morning and he won't be here. At least it's just 1 night though. Man, 2 weeks.

I hope your sleeping by now. Mine are 4 and 2 1/2. They get big really quick, too quick! The little headaches you have with them now get bigger as they get bigger. The thing that stays the same is the love you have for them. My son is the oldest and all boy and hard headed as the day is long. Pushes me to my limits at times, but never changes the fact that I would give my life for him. Then my little girl is all daddy's girl. Smart and sweet and will do anything I ask. Then again she is bossy and demanding and all girly girl ! The things a dad will do for his kids will stagger your mind as they get older. Enjoy your time my man! so true....kinda sad...but two good friends of mine went through this....one had a daughter with a girl(which is great for him)...but they are seperated and dont like each other...another dated a girl, who sucked, for 5 years before she gave him the boot(most of us had hoped he would have made the move first but he didnt have the balls...he didnt want to be alone)

these guys party together like 4 nights a week...and they hate that im not single now when they are....because when they were in relationships i wasnt...and id always try to get em to go out and they rarely would....i was always the fun guy who make plans and whatnot....i can tell they hate it now because they wish i was single

im 31 and my girl is 25...shes the best thing that ever happened to me...shes actually one of my friends cousin....she knew me when i was like 15...and she always tells me how she loved me the first time she saw me....and she would always try to get me to take her out years ago but i always thought the age difference was a bit much(especially when she was younger) plus i knew her family....i still like to go out and party a little....shell come too....sometimes well just start the night early at like 4 or 5 and go home early like 8 or 9....but im just as happy hangin with her at home with or without whiskey....

the worst part is....we grew up in a town of about 30-35k people...my boy went to a good school in mass. for undergrad and then got a masters degree....he refuses to leave the town...he has good credential and there are plenty of cities in ct, mass, and even providence ri....that would be better...but hes such a mommas boy he wont leave our little town because she does everythng for him(she personally decorated his new apt once he got kicked out of his old place by his girl)...and he just hits up the same bars on rotation every time thinking hes going to find his "wife"....its kinda pathetic....ive told him for years to get out of here ...even while he was dating his last gf.....the only decent girls around here(and they are few and far between) are going to be turned off by his reputation as a barfly around here
