Yeah, thanks - I just took a nibble on Nishi too. Gicquel is more than a bit mediocre, and Nishi took a set off Nadal at Queens. The way Nadal was playing there, that takes some doing.

ps go Korolev! Broken Big Berd already, and held serve for 4-2.....

Schnyder is ridiculous, had about 4-5 break opportunities across 2 games that I counted from watching live scoring occasionally, and failed to capitalize, then gets broken herself.

I really hope her age doesn't catch up to her here, usually she does well in these early rounds and although grass isn't her favorite playing surface she should have enough class to win this match.

              4 Schnyder unforced errors
              12 Del. unforced errors.....

Dreadful performance, Patty answered a lot of questions with this type of outing. Losing a 1st set which was lined up for her, then looking like she'd steamroll the 2nd set and does win it respectably but not without being broken, then simply not trying in a 3rd set.

Sorry about this pick, hope Nishi can come through. Only the 1st round...

Yeah, it's a great part of the year, unfortunate to begin the 1st match that way, but plenty tennis left to be played...

                          Nishi wins 1st set 6-4.

Yeah tough break for us, Patty had that 1st set and let it slip away, should've broken her when she had her chances, opponent had committed many more unforced errors to that point, then Patty starts 2nd set more convincingly and I have no idea what happened in the 3rd. Appears she just got outworked.

2nd set critical for Nishi here. 2-0 he's looking good, and I might even lay off then cos the odds will be so good. If Gicquel takes, you have to think experience will tell for the match.

Lol, Nishikori retired after the 2nd set, and it was 1-1. He is such a fairweather player, what a little bitch he is. If Nadal wasn't his favorite player, he'd have retired after the 1st set against him a few weeks ago.

Yeah, irritating - if he had retired one point earlier my stake would have been refunded too (pinnacle, voids if 2 sets not complete).

His little Japanese fanboys will talk about how he must have a big injury, yeah OK we both know if he won that 2nd set his bitch ass would've miraculously found a way to continue playing.

                                    What a scumbag he is.

Really sorry about today guys, 0-2 (-1.59). Patty loses in 3 sets, Nishi retires at 1-1 (which is ridiculous of him as a 'competitor'..."Japenese Roger Federer" my ass)...

Not a huge hit just disappointing, not like I'm on mega tilt just a little disgusted at Nishi's lack of heart...

                                        Plenty tennis left...

So true, pathetic from Nishi. Compare that to Llodra, who had the trainer AND doctor out, was groaning in pain at the manipulation of his fubar'ed thigh, has a bad shoulder injury and had to get more meds for a nasty stomach infection. He then lost the first, and is still fighting (5-4 up in 2nd set, on serve).

There's a few good value bets in my opinion to be had tomorrow.

Mahut t 1.877 tomorrow against Tursunov on Pinnacle (-114).
Arnaud Clement is good odds at 1.662 (-151)

I don't ****ing believe it, even more faggots in tennis than I thought. Odesnik retired against Nieminen, when he was a set down. If Nieminen won, or it went the 2 sets, I stood to win £200! 3 matches, 3 retirements, all gone against me.

It gets worse, Lapentti has done the exact same thing against Troicki, when 6-3 4-0 down!
