is there a problem with the sbr website being very slow to open up a page, or is it just on my end. this is so frustrating. it seems that this is the only site that is slow for me. usually you guys are lightning fast.

This site is never slow for me, only hiccups are when it occasionally goes down entirely. Upgrade your internet connection to something in this era Nicky.

i swear, every site i'm on.. it is lightning fast.. and i mean fast.. but this one here, for some reason takes 6 seconds to open up each page, and this has never happened to me here before.

Clean you temporary internet files, cookies and your cache. That should do the trick.

I download more porn than anybody, and SBR is probably the fastest site in general that I visit. Perhaps it's just my Cable connection.

thanks for the help, and i did all that and it is still very very slow.. usually sbr is the fastest site on the net.. but this is sooooooooooooo slow for me the last 2 days, and everywhere else, it's lightning speed.

i just made a post last week saying how fast sbr's site is, and now it's slow as hell. i gave it the kiss of death for me.

help me illy.. this is frustrating. what do i do..

If you have high speed internet try resetting your modem (unplug it for 30 seconds or so)

nicky ,are you using firefox or opera.that is the most important thing.explorer is the worst browser for attacks from spyware and viruses and can slow you down on sites you visit alot.use the latest version of firefox should be the no.1 thing and try this site with the opera browser

2.download spybot, a free progarm that can spot spyware on your computer and there are tons of free antivirus software out there as well .run an antispyware program like spybot and a free antivirus program or just register at aol for free email and use their free stuff,antispyware,antivirus etc..

I can almost guarantee you its most likely your browser or spyware especially when its sites you visit alot

i deleted all files, cleared cache, deleted cookies, and just now shut down computer.. and still illy, the only site of all the forums that is super slow for me is this one. illy, this is really frustrating.. tough to post like this.. i can usually make 4 posts in the same time as 1 post now..

i do have extreme high speed, but if i do unplug it for 30 seconds, will that help. this is the only site that is slow.. will unplugging it really help? sorry illy, i know i am making you work tonight.. thanks.

Nicky get real, nobody in East LA has high speed internet. I would venture most of East LA doesn't even have PC access... No shame in using 56k...

thanks jgm.. i ddin't understand a word you just said, because i am clueless in computers, but i will read it again. i dont know what spyboot is or spyware.. i am not on aol, i am on explorer. are you saying i might have a virus? thanks jgm, i will look for an anti virus program now..

i hope i fix this problem cause this is annoying as hell. the only site that's doing this to me is sbr.

nicky do a search for firefox,download that and then do a search for opera,always,and i mean always use those browsers.

explorer is always under assault from spyware and is by far the worst browser out there.

just search firefox,opera and download both and use them as your browser.

I am sure thats it.

Iwill tell you more about spybot later,just get firefox and opera first

I hear you about the d.r. i have to show you what I have been looking at tonight from costa rica,the pirate club and del rey.I am still new to this traveling to cr or domin. republic but I know this is probably known to alot of you guys.I was looking at live web cam from the club at del rey tonight.

nicky,just google the word "mozilla" or "firefox" or both together

then google or search write in the word "opera browser" and download those two browsers.firefox and opera are two different browsers but you really need three browsers on your computer. I am telling you,the internet will be so much faster it will solve this problem with sbr ,I can almost guarantee you the problem is explorer

nicky its a must to get another browser.If it doesnt work tonight just google and search for firefox, download that browser tomorrow, and then search for "opera browser" and download that browser too and try sbr tomorrow on those browsers

if that doesnt work we can try spybot and some antivirus software because its almost always spyware that slows down explorer on certain web sites

once spyware gets in explorer it can slow down certain web sites especially ones you visit alot

It could be on our end. We will be making upgrades all through the summer. I have noticed that some locations are slower than others.

thanks johnny, and i agree, it has to be you guys. since yesterday morning, sbr has been soooooooooooo slow for me.. but it don't make sense why i have been to 487 sites today, and all opened up in a blink of an eye, and sbr takes 6.8 seconds to open up a page. every site is still lightning fast. when i go to any site, it opens up in literally, 0.3 seconds.. that's how fast it is.. but sbr, 6.8 secs. if it was my computer, or browser, or whatever jgm is saying, wouldn't it be slow on every site.

I couldn't even log on to SBR this evening. Once it did it was the slowest I have ever encountered. All the other sites I have been to tonight are loading up fine except SBR. This is the first time I ever had a problem with SBR not loading or being slow.

thanks billy, but i am downloading everything now to try to fix it.. spyware, anti virus, and whatever else. if it dont work, i will do this.. thanks.. it just dont make sense because 5,000 people here and i am the only one that complained. no one else seems to have this problem, so it can't be from your end like johnny said. it has to be on my end. but yet again, this is the only site that has this problem.


btw, the mods have been very helpful here, thanks.. i think every mod came in here to help me, even the owners.. the only one that didn't come in is ranch..

i think ranch should be suspended.. give the man an infraction..
