I can do all the tablet crap on my smartphone, I guess if you have a little dinky iphone screen then you might want to get a bigger iphone so you can see grandpa.

No. I have the HTC Thunderbolt phone. It's pretty much a mini tablet. If anything, nicer phones will replace tablets.

Neither can hold a candle to a laptop, at least not yet.

I'm on one now at work because my laptop is broke...no flash really sucks so I'd take my laptop over this

Im looking into buying to xoom or the new toshiba thrive. I hate apple. I do own an Ipod but thats just because ive had it for many years and its loaded with music. I think the tablet will do away with some parts of the laptop but not all. They do not have the storage capability of a lap top. However for quick and easy tasks the tablet should be a better option considering its so much smaller and light weight.

Im personally getting the tablet because I can put my business presentations onto PDF and then it would be much simpler way of presenting to prospects. As of now I use laminated flip charts and depending on the situation I have like 4 so having everything into one spot would be great. I dont like how apple will not let you upgrade the memory or even change the layout of your screen. Droid is the way to go I think.
