The obsession with Patty is they like to pay to watch him lose.

It's kind of like being a bully.

Funding someone you know is going to go on an emotional up and down rollercoaster of winning and losing and then lose it allllllllllll in the end, is sort of like a fun sick mind game.

Patty needs to stop gambling and get a job.
