Its all good Ken. I'm not really starting trouble its just Raiders is so much fun. Everyone knew he would show and show he did. And he kept his punches up in enemy territory so its all good in forumville. You have to admit that as critical as he was towards you for years and banned by you and totally anti-shrink, its pretty comical to see him so attached to you now for a little cash handout. I cant resist baiting him over here for a little show now and then.

Eog is a joke Mofome and Raiders start 95% of the threads there with useless garbage. SBR is king.

Exactly that is why it will fail, EOG just has a forum and nothing else to offer, I think I looked at EOG once the last 2 months for 3 minutes or so.

As for EOG, it does look busier of late. Of course we all know most are paid posters but if it brings in some big advertisers for football they have done what Ken needed. While it wouldn't surprise me to see many let go after the ad deals are signed and football has begun, I actually believe they will keep most of them on. Not like they are paying for top level talent, I've seen Raiders bend over longtime friends of his for a $300 a month gig at TOW, not like he's going to command top dollar anywhere. Doubt he or any of the others outside of JMan and the official mods are making much more than that.

Only problem I see with this sort of business plan is what do the regular posters think? Maybe it's just me but if I'm the only guy at a site not getting paid I might move on to another place. Not because I want to earn, I don't come to the forums for that, but because it would be like sitting out in the crowd while they are filming an informercial. Instead of being the only guy in the room not getting paid, I'd probably move on to a place where I know nobody is getting compensated other than employees. How in hell can you believe a word of what's being posted? The boss says it and then 12 attack poodles rush in to "verify" what he said.

No thanks, I come to the forums for information, mostly about books. A site with a large base of compensated employees and a BetUS banner at the top is probably not where I need to be. 'Nuff said.

A new level to the natural hierarchy:
- pros;
- touts (the few good ones), who know stuff but couldn't make it as pros; or who take the security of a more steady income.
- then a wide spectrum of recreational players.
And finally:
- paid posters, who get to scrape together a few dollars for telling the world what losers they are; this attracts other losers, who now feel a therapeutic sense of relief knowing that they're not the only dumbasses. All this to the delight of sponsoring books (who, quite possibly, stole their money in the first place), who get to sign up a nice chunk of proven losers all over again.

SBR is of course 'The Bigs'. In the Bigs there are no crapbooks or paid posters just hardcore posting pros. Then you got some AA and single A. Come to think of it maybe thats whats going on! SBR had to send a few posters down to the minors recently! So no caviar or first class or bash parties for them for a while. Just move them down so they can get their shtick back. Maybe if we get a weak poster that shows up and says their favorite book is SBG or BetUS or something we will give him a 14 day rehab at the eog?
