Tomorrow is July 20th, 2011, just another Wednesday for most of us, but for the Pirates, it will be the beginning of the end. Their gradual fade into obscurity will start with a loss to the Reds in about 10 hours.. Most will not even be alarmed by tomorrows loss, it will be another hard fought game by the Bucco's, they will just come up a little bit short. It will be the first of many close losses that will eventually lead to their demise...
The Pirates are not as good as they or even you think.. What you think doesn't fukkin matter, but what they think does.. (while other clubs are trying to make moves and improve, the Pirates will stand pat because they believe they are a first place team, but they aren't.) You see, the Pirates are on cloud nine right now, they have won 19 of their last 30 and are now in first place... The problem is they are only a half game up on the Brewers and have the Cardinals and Reds right behind them. I say only because they have had the luxury of playing some of baseballs worst teams the last month or so.. and at the peak of all peaks, here they are, only one half of one game ahead of the Brewers.
