I don't even think they were first into the market, 11runs was around and a few others, but Draftstreet seems to have some nice features others don't and it fits all budget ranges with a wide range of action. I was hesistant at first but after researching it, fantasy sports are legal in US because they are considered skill games so thinking of switching from 11runs to Draftstreet; epsecially since SBR is in the mix now.

Lou, Im in and trying to put my team together but please explain. Is this a team for the rest of the year or just a day? There are 75 hours left until.....the league starts? Once I pick my team is that it, are we locked in? If not, will the values of the players change? The rules were rather generic.

Would be nice to have a weekly sbr league for NFL 20-50 guys willing to do a $22 buy in for a $400-$1000 prize pool. At least someone at SBR would be turning a 20 spot into some nice coin weekly

Top Game nailed it. As the first post indicates, it is a 1-day contest which takes place Friday July 29th.

I've already started with my team. Here's what my line-up looks like so far:



Roy Halladay, SP, PHI ($18,276): Tough to pay this much but it's Roy, and it's the Pirates.
Nick Swisher, OF, NYY ($7,007): Swish has hit Guthrie well in his career and has turned his season around.
Dontrelle Willis, SP, CIN ($3,523): If I pay for Roy then I need to take the discounted ticket on the D Train.
Robinson Cano 2B, NYY ($7,286): A homer New York pick.

Good idea topgame, and our private league format can handle 20 guys for sal cap, and 6 for snake drafts right now. We could potentially increase the cap on participants but if they don't fill the leagues are cancelled which can be a bummer. We've been trying to push the private leagues since you can basically bring your yearly fantasy group of friends into a format that simplifies all the scoring, debt collecting, and payouts.

Good to hear, will be trying to get SBR guys to jump in, rather take their money Sbr could offer some type of point bonus for participation or for top 3 in addition to $ winnings. Participate and get 10 sbr points or top 3 finishers 40, 20, 10 or something to help fill the leagues if there is not enough interest up front.

Buried myself tonight taking nats players against nolascocame in bottom 25% in the $5 one and right at 50% in the $11 one. Just pounded tomorrows numbers and put in tentative lineups for two of the pools. Took a bunch of nats in one of them again but tomorrow will be a lot better day for them. In the other one only top players from a few teams that will rack up runs and then pitchers that will hold. Will be pocketing some tots tomorrow boys.
