Anyone ever get this message at a Cris related book? My brother and I play the same side a lot around the same time. We have one account each at bookmaker and 2betdsi. Recently got hit with this message when logging in. Any help or suggestions?

#2Welcome to the board Z.
Books aren't going to let you bet with someone else at the same time if you are exceeding the betting limit in total amount wagered. You will be able to bet the same line if the limit isn't exceeded and you will probably be ok with betting the play at different times so they can move the number. Those limits are in place to help the linemen manage the board. The best advice might be to add other books.Comment -

#3First off, Welcome to the SBR forum sir.
I personally have never experienced that this before, however I don't have mutable accounts there either. I guess they feel that you and your brother are trying to find a way to get around the limits, bonus restrictions, ect, ect.Comment -

#4If a book takes 2 bets near the same time that are limit (or close to limit bets), it is known as a "double pop". Books hate this - it makes risk management harder, since they don't have the chance to adjust the line between "pops".
If there is a pattern of this happening between 2 accounts (or more), it doesn't matter how it happens. They'll get mad, and take countermeasures. If you keep doing it, you and your brother might have your limits lowered.Comment -

#5I've had that message popping up every time I log in for the last 6 months. I explained to them that I am not in any type of collusion with another account, but received no response to that particular email.
The message went on to state that any further "Double popping" on my behalf would lead to lower limits for me, but that never occurred. Regardless though, the message is a constant annoyance but in my case nothing more.Comment -

#6Gentleman,
Thanks Bill. Thank you all for the information. I spoke to a wagering manager and he said give it a minute or two between pops. He said I could bet the side as much as I like 3 or 4 times etc., if he had a chance to move the number, or if the bets weren't at the "same time", so "a minute or two" was ok from what he told me. Sounds like a lot of room for personal interpretation here. I want to play fair and square within the rules. Anyone ever heard of a guy getting his limits reduced at a Cris book before?Comment -
