No, I'm right. What we're comparing is betting just this or betting this and the other side. It's -EV to bet the other side, as compared to just betting this.

Saying it's -EV doesn't mean that you're losing money. It means that it's -EV, no more and no less. You took a +EV situation and turned it into basically nothing. You bet 226 on the Twins. So that would be +14, except you're getting raked 8+ points (it winds up being 8 and a fraction) from this. So you profited less than 6 points.
