Unbelievable tournament so far. Brazil and Argentina both get knocked out early. I fancy Venezuela to win it

I do think Uruguay is the most polished and deserving of their Fav status. Also, a pretty good team for PK-shootout w/ calm strikers and a GK (Muslera) who will save 30% of the shots.

Venezuela has had an outstanding tournament. Could do a lot worse when looking for a longshot. I see that Santa Cruz (PARA) was not active today, b/c of injury he picked up.

but that means nothing, this is the era of modern football, the week team parks a bus in front of the goal, and keep the game scoreless until it goes to a penalty shootout and there its anyones game

Uruguay is the top dog now, solid defense and the best strikers in Suarez/Forlan. But if this Copa has proven anything, it is that top dogs go down easily. All teams left can shut down an opponent, makes for a pretty interesting. +Paraguay have the hottest fans.

Seems to have been a lot of draws as far as I have seen - 3 out of 4 quarter finals drawing after 90mins and going to penalties, but a few of the group games as well seemed to be draws.

Still, loving Brazil + Argentina out - backed Uruguay at +950 early doors, so managed to lay some of that back to give me a win no matter what, though left a bigger win on Uruguay so still cheering them on really!
