Wnba shaved a pt off the wash/pheonix game

I am pissed. how can a score go from 62-78 for over a minute. Out of the timeout it shows 62-75. Thomas hits a 3 pointer and its 65-78 the 2h washington covers. Why was that pt taken off. Game ends and the score shows 65-78 on the NBA channel

THis is horrible. Thomas final stats showed 2-2 on 3pts. Then mysteriously after about 2 minutes it goes to 1-2. If she hit a 2 pointer the score would be 63-78. She hits a 3 and its 64-78.
I go to my Wnba live access to rewatch that last minute. All of a sudden out of the timeout the score is taken down to 61. WTF is going on here. Live game shows 62 but nba access shows 61. It is tape delayed

During a timeout referees can review an earlier shot to determine whether it was a 2 or 3 pointer. A point can be deducted or added several minutes after the shot was scored. Sometimes it's added or deducted during halftime, usually it happens when the game just keeps flowing with no interruptions (timeouts or numerous free throws).

Sometimes announcers miss that.

The problem is that every ON-LINE ticker ESPN / YAHOO / I PHONE ETC ETC showed a 78-65 Final. It wasn't adjusted until 5 minutes after the game went Final. All tickers and boxscore live links use the same satellite feed.

*edit* Full game bettors also could be affected by this. For example, some books allow buying 1-3 points in WNBA. I had a bet on Washington +13.0 at (-132). Got paid too, lol
