    private forum...pros and cons...discussion thread
    there are private forums for trading...people who runs the private forum usually help out the newbies in the public forums then post more in depth material in the private forum. is this practical for gambling forums? i remember a gambling forum started charging for membership and now no one goes there.

    what are the pros and cons for group of knowledgeable people on sbr to start a private forum? a few mods here could make that list...plus few posters

    I don't like that concept. Information is free, tricky part is just being able to find it, and apply it. Creating a paid section for "next tier" discussions would not be successful, because most players will not share applicable formulas which they've taken the time to discover for themselves.

    For the handful of people which would actually pay to post in a section like that, contribute more to the Think Tank.
