Ya Robyn, Jay Day is who it is. Being a buddy we were all hoping, but we did know that Bisping fighting in his hometown would be tough to beat, even though he is tough anywhere, plus being only his second fight in the UFC that was a huge step up. I enjoyed Tim and CB s fight... both landed some pretty big bombs, and at times CB looked like he punched himself out, was lookin a little gassed. although tim was as well... was quite the battle though

I will never say that he threw the fight for Bisping, but I am sure the powers that be made sure that whomever he was going to fight, he would be able to beat. I just wish it was a better fight. Nobody likes to see it end in the first round. Borrrrrrrrring.

It will be interesting to see that now that a few months have gone by, how conditioned both Amir and CB will be. Both will do well in the UFC although I heard that CB's arm or hand was in a cast not too long ago.

As the sport gets more popular, the stoppages seem to be getting quicker.

There are a lot of good fighters in Davenport. Hardly any of them end up on the show, but some get into the UFC undercard stuff or other more regional stuff.

Day was awful that fight and my wonderful Canadian buddy recommended i bet him and like a sucker i did. But then again he recommended him the fight before and he was a nice dog and it hit.

If this card was on Showtime instead of Cable(CBS) I Think the Smith vs lawler fight would of continued also i see James Thompson fight not getting stopped early ,Jt gets KO or gets the takedown and wins the fight .

Dan Mirgliata killed me , Kimbo eats elbows for 2 mins in a side control crusfix position . But Brandon Vera gets mounted bye Verdum with 30 secs in the round and is covering up Dan M jumps in and stops the fight.

Robyn sweetie i watch the show and im starting to worry because i don't watch much TV and i watched Rock of love also. Now Robyn you see this guys post above? Do you think Dana found the excuse to dump Jesse because he really wanted Cb in that spot? A guy who can wrestle and use his hands instead of boring Jesse? Jesse style was horrible just like this guy says. Oh MMA joe i said the same thing to my buddy about Jesse and his alcohol. He can't handle it. Did you see the way he was tearing up the house? Like a savage animal.

Yeah Thor i also watched rock of love . Yeah my friend said he didnt like hanging out with Jesse because he did dumb $h*t all the time he still has not grown up. I wonder why some people go on this show and act like asses and bitches ( Noah,Gabe,Jesse,Joey ect) . But people do stupid stuff on Jerry Springer all the time . Dont know whats a matter with people these days.

I have watched all the seasons (mostly on DVD). This season wasn't the best, but still made for good viewing.

I like how they started the show out by making them fight their way into the house. But for some reason, I didn't really connect with any of them this time around. Nobody really stood out.

Hmmm...I don't think so. I think they were holding on to the ear as an out for Slice to win. NOBODY goes into a fight with an undrained ear. It was so heavy, that it was flopping over. I don't think that they even intended for the fight to go on as long as it did. Kimbo is poorly conditioned and I thought he was going to die during the interview afterward.

And to Kimbo's defense, I think that EliteXC pushed him into a main event WAYYYYY too soon. He wasn't ready. But they had far too much money invested in him to allow him to lose. I do have to admit though, putting him up against a clown like Thompson was a good call. That guy was cracking me up.

We saw a lot less of the house activities in my opinion than usual this season. There were like 4 weeks in a row where there were two fights in the same show. I don't remember that happening as much on previous shows. I think they knew the house stuff sucked and thus shortened the season and did double the fights.

Of course I could be way off. But that is what it seemed like to me.

That could also have a lot to do with the fact that there is a lot of competition now with MMA being so popular. Perhaps the guys are more focused as they have in the past. Except for the episode they completely destroyed the house.

I have never been this unenthused about a season of the Ultimate Fighter. It was okay, that's about it.
