I think this and the Jays +131 tomorrow are two plays to look out for...

Still early but these two stick out so far.

Jays got bat theory, Fade the Yankees theory

Orioles line has already moved quite a bit....going to see what the line-ups are first

Orioles are 6-12 when Guthrie starts here vs Masterson 10-8 when he starts.....of course public here is going to be on the Indians who have done well so far in the first half...

Strange line because usually he'd be a little heavier favorite in this spot so I'm going to wait and see if the line drops more...if it does I'll be on the Orioles.

I like to go against those trends especially since Guthrie is just plain awful amirite?

I'd take the two better teams.

New York is 5-3 against Toronto this year and has limited the damage done by Bautista. He is 7 for 26 (.269) with three homers, and five RBIs in the series. He's hitting a mere .180 in his last 10 games against New York. Expect a nice bounce-back game from Bartolo Colon, coming off his first loss in 5 starts. Colon is 4-0 with a 2.53 ERA in seven road outings. Jay's Reyes gave up 5 runs over 3 innings in his only start against the Yankees this season, so look for the Yanks hot bats to continue to do damage. The Yanks are coming into this game with a nice swing of momentum thanks to Robinson Canoes HR Derby victory. Toronto cant say the same after Bautistas disappointing outing. Though derby results and momentum will have no bearing on tonights game, the Yanks will win outright and pull closer to the first place Red Sox.


Masterson is 3-0 with a 0.40 ERA and 0.706 WHIP in his last three starts, and has pitched his best on the road this season. Guthrie is 3-12 with a 4.18 ERA and 1.327 WHIP this season for the Orioles. Masterson faced the Orioles in April and allowed 1 earned run and 5 base runners over 7 innings of an 8-2 Indians victory. Guthrie pitched against the Indians in April and allowed 6 earned runs and 11 base runners over 5 innings of an 8-3 Indians win. Expect Cleveland to build on their hot first half of the season in this series with the Orioles, particularly in this pitching matchup.
