I think Shari's intelligence is quite intimidating to a lot of the young boys and angry old men here at SBR.

Good post. I have been on so many gambling forums and its so rare intelligent women like shari and now vegas vixen and a few others continue posting because of being constantly harassed or hit on.

There was roxxygurl a few years back, a guy pretending to be a girl, clevefan is still around majorwager, billsfan but she rarely posts over here, blondie over at eog but EOG is lucky to be online most days, and a few other but usually it seems to be guys posing as women, LOL.

We are lucky to have Shari and Vegas vixen here, women seem alot more prevalent in the poker world than in sports gambling

I didn't think I did. But when I made the video on NYE a few posters were claiming I must really be an Aussie pretending to be a Canadian (because that makes sense ) so apparently I've picked up a bit of something. It happened when I was living in Italy and Norway too so I guess I just soak up accents somewhat easily. But when I'm in a store or whatever one of the first things people say to me is either "You're not from here" or "what part of the States are you from?" so I can't sound that Aussie.

You'd have to ask one of the guys who have talked to me on here for any length of time. They'd probably know better than me.

Agree with you in regards to Shari, but be careful with Vegas Vixen. She tried to go tout with a known liar, cheat, scammer as a "partner"..........and she went right along with it. Of course, it failed.......and quick.

Mine gets an infraction (again I don't care about) and gets deleted. Yours, nothing. I am told mine violated one of the terms of posting about sexually harassing. They were both joking but easily fit the criteria for breaking the rule.


I realize I am harping but I am harping about the same thing I have I have bitched about for some time around here. The Mods have a tough job but it is made tougher because of this discretionary policy of enforcing rules. If it is a rule then enforce all violators or lose the friggin rule.

I didn't know she sold picks and I don't know anything about that group but its not surprising that people would offer a bright woman a job at a sports tout site, it is such a rarity to see women on sports forums. I see "ginas" picks around every now and then but not alot of women touts.

Vegas vixen strike me as very intelligent though, I never really understand touts sites, why not put up previews on the games, offer stats, and make your money by putting up affiliate links for vegas shows, travel stuff, memorabilia, and sportsbooks and offer commentary and your leans on the games as part of your benefits for joining the site, sort of like las vegas advisor does. Pregame.com used to have a great injury report, I havent been there in a while.

I have bought Dr.Bob and RAS and a few others through the years and I haven't ever regretted it but they have had their down periods for sure. Tout sites have such a bad business model, just selling picks is such a bad way to make money, even RAS moved away from selling picks for wnba and has his twitter site now with picks which is really great.

You may have had more experience with this group than I have but I am all for giving people the benefit of the doubt, VV strikes me as a very intelligent poster and having women around here is great.
