Who would like a "do-over" on choosing their SBR posting name?

I know I sure would.

For a handful of years I posted over at RX, but the traffic was so slow that I'd pop in and out from week to week (more regular during college football season). What brought me to SBR was chasing down a known liar/ghost/wannabe-tout ("El Stugoto"....who signed up here as "Lets Go Out" ....same 9 letters in each username) who was exposed at the RX and decided he'd try his luck here at SBR.

When I chose my posting name 60 Minutes had just ran the "Billy Walters" segment and it was a quick and fairly thoughtless choice. Now, almost six months later..........I wish I had a mulligan. Lots of cool user names around SBR..........very jealous.

Anybody else?

When I signed up I couldn't think of anything 'original' so I looked around the room I was in.

There were some moving boxes and one of which was Kettle 1 Vodka the other said Rubber something.

And a name was born.

I never really posted much at forums, and always just chose names that had some letters and numbers in it and never put much thought into it. Profile names that were no fun to repeat when you are talking to someone.

I guess more people will spend time on their profile names if they care about points.

Yeah. I almost changed a year ago but when I found that out, I gave up. I'd definitely use a fake name if I could have a redo though.

there should be like a 500 point penalty and minimum time/posts made to change your name and keep the post count and pro status. and of course as long as its made known who has changed.

actually you can request a name change but you will lose your points. If you have no points change your name, or use them then change the name

I still think Pimpy Mcpimp was one of the best profile names I can remember, ole pimpy may have posted on here 3 or 4 years ago or on the rx, I cant remember.
