I do not go to watch movies. It is not because i am cheap, but because they take too much out of my day and they are such an effort. I have a pretty good setup at home (not that it really helps when you are watching a pirated copy) and I need to be able to watch when I want and be able to pause and rewind.

There was stuff about pitching in moneyball too though basically looking for the pitch to contact and soft tossers that are undervalued over strikeout guys and hard throwers that they can't afford.

But moneyball still very overrated because they built the regular season not to win a title. They could get big innings against weak pitchers and guys with control problems, but no way to score on top pitchers.

I don't see how this could possibly be an interesting movie. Most of the book was about the practical application of statistics, and as for the personalities involved, I'm sorry, but Chad Bradford & company just aren't that interesting.

I have a feeling they are going to try to riff off Major League and make it seem like a bunch of inept players overcoming long odds. I'll pass on this.
