What business are you starting up? Take it from me, if you're looking for contracts in the southeast....go for GSA if you don't know many people on local supervisory boards and the rest of the hurdles. Keep an eye out for the RFP's listed and jump on them early....easy to grab a few between $2,500-$100k with little or no competition as a startup if you have your numbers right.

This house is really tacky. Hate the manmade cultured stone on the front, simply not something you see much anymore. The "Gone With the Wind" double staircase totally doesn't fit in with the interior. Total waste of space, and surprising how cheap they went on stairparts with the flat black catalog-grade balusters?? Not what you would see in a million-dollar home. Crown molding is way too obnoxious. A classy trim job doesn't scream out LOOK AT ME......and the depth is way overstated in this house. Pool area is nice, except for the shockingly out of place red tile coping? Makes no sense and looks a bit tacky.
Nice lot, though. Good luck with all that, pal.

Lemart5, wanna make a wager?
1 million bet between you and I
You and I must front the money.
A million is not going to break your bankroll
I'm betting you DO NOT have more CASH than me. Straight cash you fukk!
We can discuss more in details, if you agree, after you and I put our money up front.

Typical over rated house in North Alabama. You can have a house bigger than that and with 100 acres if you didn't live in white collarsville.

Jake Lemont, take a look at these listings... In a different state some of these properties wouldn't even be a few hundred grand... It's all about Location and that is all it's about... Sure ,you can get a sweet house for 500k in a different state... same house in SB or this area of the Ya Area is gonna cost you 5-10mil

Unreal the valuations on property in Hoover/Vestavia Hills and the like....just move next door to Columbiana or Mountain Brook.

Exactly. I can't see spending $$ on a multi-million dollar home (California excluded for obvious pricing reasons) when I can put the surplus in other investments as well as travel/sporting events. I'm all about the independence of having my $$ be actual $$ and not listed as 'house rich'.
^^^ unless the house is built by Opie or Mike Holmes.....those dudes could build a quality roof I bet
