Why is it ridiculous? They take state money, they are a state-funded school (or should a say THE state funded school). The tax-paying public has a constitutional right to all communications. Don't like it, become a private school.

The players info is protected by Ferpa until they die. When Pryor dies they can have the emails.

lol could be. Speaking of porn I read someone on Buckeyeplanet say that Ohio State should countersuit ESPN for removing the nude photos and video of Erin Andrews from the internet.

lol for what? A few players sold their own gear and the coach covered it up. They players got their suspensions and the coach is gone. Nothing more then that. Don't let ESPN get to you.

I thought I read in a few articles there being a few more incidents and an overall culture surronding Tressell himself. Even the school's dean was in his pocket if you listen to him in this year's Lindy's or Athlon magazine....can't recall which one at the moment.

I am not seeing how this is ridiculous, this happens a lot with public government institutions now, thanks to the freedom of information act.
But this is just my opinion, I thought it was pretty cute Ohio state punishing itself the other day. And thinking its enough for all the dumbass shit they did. If USC got stripped from playing in post-season games from their scandal, the same punishment should be implemented to OSU.

ESPN has every right to this information and they are not over publicising it. Tressell allowed his players to be paid by intentionally turning a blind eye to things he knew were wrong. Would not be surprised if that goon Gee had suspicions of what was going on too.

If these emails get published by ESPN... him and Tressell could be working at the "Little Sisters of the Poor" together soon! We can only hope.

The "get what they deserve" comes from OSU and Tressel painting themselves as paragons of virtue (think: Truth, Justice and the American Way) when in reality Tressel was rule breaker and a liar.
