Either a team would have to move or two teams would have to be brought in. 33 teams would mean someone would have to have a bye every week.

I would like a team. Only thing is LA doesn't support losing teams..
It's not that big of deal here.

Not until they can get enough people to put down the pot and get their lazy asses into a stadium on a regular basis.

They have USC. That basically is a pro team especially when it comes out in August 2009 that they have been paying players and such.
UCLA is trying to be a pro team, except their head coach is the guy that should be in charge of recruiting. If they get a head coach, thats 2 pro. football teams in LA.
There are so many alternative freaks in LA anyway, I doubt they miss it.

I lived in LA when they had the Rams and Raiders. Hardly anybody cared.
For the NFL to effectively tap into the LA market the team would have to be top quality. Too much great stuff going on in LA to get sidetracked by mediocrity.

Don't forget they get the premier game every week too. No Texans vs. Cardinals for them. I think I could handle missing games like that every week.

Great point, but I'm sure they would rather support their own team.

Good post great one. Did you see how many top prospects they got... 14!!! I think the next closest was like 6 for the next best which I believe was Notre Dame.

this is false, false, false. i wish i counted how many times i had to watch some shitty ass raiders or 49ers game when something way better was on.
i dont think LA will get a team because there is no where for them to play. They cant play in the rose bowl because it is way too huge and they will never be able to sell out all 100,000 seats (sellouts affect if you get on TV). No one is going to want to play at angel or dodger stadium, and LA isnt going to put up millions and millions of dollars for 7 home games a year.
plus, we have the avengers!!!!!

If the NFL puts a team in LA, where will other NFL franchises threaten to move when they want a new stadium deal? LA is the perfect non-franchise NFL city. It's easy to threaten to move a team to LA to get a new stadium deal, but LA doesn't really need a team. If there was any NFL love in LA, the Raiders and Rams would still be there.

I am still a die-hard Rams fan!! Never stopped!! I know alot of people
in L.A that hate the Rams for moving to another town. But they love
their stupid Raiders!!
