Anyone remember back when there were NO POINTS at SBR?

Everyone is fighting with each other now about points.

1. Pros vs Non-Pros
2. Price increases at the Store
3. No Sportsbook Cash for US Pros
4. Stiffing of Points
5. Panic Attacks When Trivia doesn't pop up at 12:01 am
6. Can't get best line at the book (too much juice)
7. Casino BJ dealer always beat my 20 with a BJ
8. Roulette lands 12 times in a row on Red
9. Getting rivered on Poker with Pocket Aces all the time
10. Didn't get my 4 points when I logged in today

You see what points do to your lives? They control your daily activities and the way you interact socially with other human beings.

Was it worth it?

I like the points though, and not sure why people trip about them. Especially trivia.

I do agree however, it seriously gets old seeing the threads about point b!tching. Again, mostly the trivia ones.

Honestly, I'm just thankful we have something like SBR Points to redeem for prizes. I don't know of any other sites that have something like this for nuts like us.

I've had more pizza in the last 5 months that I would have had to get an extra job to pay for them all. And I didn't pay anything thanks to good ole SBR

I'm not talking trivia glitches. I'm talking if there is no trivia on the random day posts/threads. Or if it is delayed.

Glitches happen, and encourage people to alert them.

The time before points had a lot less worthless posters. Love to go back to the days JJ was the only off-the-wall poster. Now people have tried to outdo him and fail miserably. I do have to admit i have enjoyed rewards of points though. Sbr, don't worry about these complainers, there will never be a world without complainers.

I remember it very well... It was a much better environment and the quality of people that were posting and the regulars were much better.... This is what we have now, oh well..I am still here and have adapted with the new breed.

Im with you pavy things were better, but I dont see things going back to the way they were. SBR created a point monster and now it has to keep feeding it or they will lose traffic and the site would dry up.

I could see the points program gone soon, they seen too many were getting their "fix" betting points and deposits at books dropped a ton..

one other thing when I signed up to become PRO it said good for one year, how can SBR keep changing the rules during my first year and keep lessening the value of a point..kind of like even though I have a contract with my cell service or satellite provider they can raise my rates whenever they want..

Points have there pros and cons like anything else. I personally enjoy them but will not be renewing my SBR Pro when the time comes unless alot of issues change here
