    Gold, I am a poster child for sick recreational gamblers. I will go all in with every dollar I have or can repay in a very short period of time. Not as sick as guys who gamble their childs college funds or take 100kloans at the bank they know they can't cover etc. but one step below. i am the common guy who bets all of his expendable income (and possibly a few hundo over it) but does not get in so deep he needs to sell his rooster.

        true, there are a small amount of guys out there who make money at it and there is a larger group who actually make a living off of rebate shops but most people don't. It is like all betting in that you have a legit shot when you are betting spots and if you have self control. Most people problem is not beating the game but beating their own instincts. A certain percent of people just can't pick a winner but most people bet too many matches, bet too high percentage of bankroll, chase losses or just go wild.
