    An upset of historic proportions?
We've all heard it said that anything can happen in sports and I guess anything can happen in sports betting. Case in point:

    #13 fingas 6-6 +.51 (2 plays left)
    #14 Gordon Gekko 7-5 +2.58 (2 plays left)

I guess I'm a square because I would have taken big chalk on fingas. Would the sharps have been on GG? If you look at the totals from the first three rounds in the tournament, this is a mammoth upset brewing, imho:

    Totals: fingas 17-10.5-0.5 +7.79, Gordon Gekko 9-18 -8.72

    Round 3: Gordon Gekko 4-6 -2.60
    Round 2: Gordon Gekko 2-8 -5.50
    Round 1: Gordon Gekko 3-4 -0.62

    Round 3: fingas 7-2.5-0.5 +4.42
    Round 2: fingas 6-4 +4.18
    Round 1: fingas 3-4 -0.81

This is astounding to me. Any thoughts?

Check out BeatTheJerk's odds for the elite eight:

    1.Junkyard Dog +150
    2.Spooky +200
    3.Fingas +225
    4.Nep Dynasty +350
    5.Wrigley +400
    6.BTJ +700
    7.Golden Goat +810
    8.Gordon Gekko +2000

Can we extrapolate from that GG's odds of beating fingas? I'm not sure on the math. Anyone?

this will be the 3rd time fingas pull an upset. he might get lucky and win. you can never count him out until he finished all his plays.

You know from experience picoman but I think fingas will be eliminated this time, it's just a hunch.

If the Yankees hold onto to their two run lead, fingas will fall to about a 10-1 dog in this contest. It's amazing. WTG GG!

Thanks fearless I had a bad run in the beginning of this tourney and just picking random games now I am turning things around and playing games I would actually bet. I am on yankees big tonight.

You cashed it. I think you're moving on to the final four. Best of luck!

The upset for the ages is in the books. Am I the only one who thinks this is exciting or interesting?
