Or am I imagining things? I could of swore it was two thousand something just recently (I think in the 2600 to 2800 range) . It was the item in the store I was eying for a possible purchase at some point, which is why I noticed. Now it is 5665.

I just did some searching through the forum archives. I was correct. The camera was 2344 points on 8-25-09. And it was 2442 points on 9-23-10. I think there has been one more price increase throughout the store since September of 2010, but 2442 to 5665 makes no sense.

Positive it is the same one. The post I found from 8-25-09 also mentioned the model number and pointed out it was 12.1MP, which is the same camera in the store now. Got to be a mistake. It had to be in the last few weeks it went from 2600'ish to 5665, because I remember it being two thousand something just weeks ago.

I just looked at the price of the camera and yes there was a mistake. There was how ever a price change and it did go up but was not supposed to be that much, the correct new price is 3980 points. Sorry for the mistake.
