    Serious Question For Gambling Experts
To make a long story short. Betislands doesn't let you parlay team totals. So I played cincy tt over 4. Then I called and said I wanted to place a "if win" bet and took the yankees rl with colon on the mound. Basically a parlay in my eyes. Anyway, colon gets lit up and I figure I can't win. I forgot about cincy but they ended up hitting a 9th inning hr to make their total 4. I woke up and was shocked that I still had my $100 in my account. My question is. Which is better? A 2 game parlay or a if win bet? Payouts are close to the same I think. And I got covered by the tie??????

well it all depends on what you select in terms of original wager amount or original wager amount + win for your 2nd play... you have these 2 options when creating your if bet.

I bet $100 on cincy tt. That would have won $83. Then I wanted to play the whole thing($183) on yanks rl to win $200. So basically would have been like $100 to win $283.

The pay outs should be exactly the same (assuming you roll all the winning + original wager after the 1st part of the if)

but it cuts both ways, just happened to work in you favor this time.

if you had parlayed Reds TTOv4 and yank RL for a $100 and the reds pushed/Yanks won, you would have had been +108.

Had you had them in an if win like you did and the reds reds pushed/Yanks won, you would have been +/- 0
