Bill Maher might have the joke of the year.

In a cheap shot that was heard around the world, Bill blasted Kim Kardashian for being upset with the Casey Anthony verdict when her father was a part of the legal team that helped OJ Simpson get off for his ex-wife’s murder. Earlier this week when it was announced that Casey Anthony would be acquitted for the murder of her young daughter (Casey claims her daughter accidentally drowned and she tried to cover up the death), celebrities and media personalities took to twitter to voice their disagreement of the non guilty verdict. Kim Kardashian was one of them who tweeted in outrage:

“WHAT!!!!???!!!! CASEY ANTHONY FOUND NOT GUILTY!!!I am speechless!!!”

In response to her tweet, Bill Maher posted to twitter yesterday:

“Kim Kardashian is upset with Casey Anthony verdict? Ur father defended O.J.! Starting the Kardashian tradition of getting black men off”

Simple. Everything he said here was either wrong or just an attack on someone much smarter than him. Attacking Ben Stein for being upset about being taxed at 65%? And then providing no evidence to prove Stein wrong? Its just baseless attacks on Maher's part, but then he throws in the "you're welcome on my show anytime" thing to look tough.

And before you say Ben Stein is just a bad actor and isn't smarter than Maher, he has a degree in Economics from Columbia and was valedictorian at (I think) Harvard Law. He's MUCH more qualified to be listened to on economic issues than Maher is

Hindsight is 20/20. It was pretty tough to see that the whole house of cards would come down, rather than just the subprime section. Subprime represented HALF of 1% of all loans... the fact is that IS a blip on the radar, just like Stein said. If it had been managed correctly and not delayed til the last minute, it would have had a small fraction of the effect it did.

But you're right, Stein's an idiot, and so many people predicted what we were in store for, right?
