No one will admit it. But I have heard that there is something scientific to this theory. Gamblers deep inside want to lose. I feel like I want to win money, but who knows I guess. Everybody is messed up.

People gamble because they want to WIN, or at least, feel what it's like to be a winner. They want to be good at it and they will risk their money trying.

More often than not, after losing money on a wager a gambler will continue to keep betting in hopes of recouping their losses.

So how can it be a matter of "wanting to lose"?
