Espn had the shortest speach ever for Kerry Collins retiring.

I always liked this guy.
He wil probably fill the rest of his life, drinking and hunting. Also a little of both @ the same time.

Kerry Collins was created by god, as a model of what the perfect 2nd String QB is.
Never great, but an elite backup.

One of Collin's awesomest plays was standing outside the police house and puffin on a cigar, after a DWI. PRO shiz right there.
God bless um. I dogged him for MANY years, but, to be fair, he became a MORE than serviceable starter. He was actually top 10 in the NFL at one point. Collins was NEVER meant to be a star QB, but in my eyes, he is a really nice QB, but his EGO could never be held in check. When Collins was humbled, he was quite good. When his ego took over? He was crap. He has nothing left to give, but he sure was a blast to watch. Too bad his EGO is crap. He coulda been a LOT better in spite of his own brain.

He's been clean and sober since like '98.
He's given away millions to charity since being clean and sober, 500K here, 250K there, 9/11 charities, you name it.
How many of you jabronis can say that?

40K passing yards, only ten other QB's have done that
