    Duke's Lacrosse Team
has members who quite possibly gang raped a stripper in the most heinous manner possible (according to the alleged victim it was racially motivated, or epithets were directed at her). This takes my Duke hatred to an entirely new level.

OK, say they are racists, but yet wanted to have sex with this black girl. Not to mention, have you seen the Duke student body? these guys are like professional geeks.

All they probably did was touch her and whip their little peckers out in her face. She probably played around with a couple of them, but then felt like they were assholes and left crying all while her friend tried to talk her into just how "wrong" this is.

So basicly you are condoning this? Let's wait for the facts before we draw any conclusions.

reports are saying that 46 of the 48 players on the team have submitted DNA samples. what i would like to know is why the other 2 players haven't submitted those samples yet.

Isn't it obvious? They are aliens posing as Duke athletes on a mission to infiltrate Earth and steal our black women.

"Police took DNA samples with a cheek swab from 46 of the lacrosse team's 47 players last week. The 47th player, the only black member of the team, did not have to provide DNA because the dancer said her attackers were white. The dancer is black."

Let me tell you a little story. Awhile back when I was in college. I was extremely drunk at an apartment party and met this hot skank that was also drunk. To make a long story short, I took her out to the parking lot in my car, she gave me a blowjob, once I couldn't get off from that in my drunken state, I took ker pants off, then gave a few thrusts. Pulled out and nutted all over this girls face and mouth. One of my finest moments.

Two days later this skanks boyfriend e-mail me.(What a tough guy) and acts like what I did was so wrong and that I ruined the best relationship of his life. Hello, dumbass, your girlfriend is the slut here, I have a birthright to do whatever I want to any skank

Basically, she felt guilty and that she was taken advantage of because the next day she felt like what she really was-- which is a slut. This girl is obviously a slut. hello, she's a stripper which means you know she is a hooker.

Hookers want two things. Money and Attention

                On SportsCenter:

                District Att., I think?:

"Why would players hire attorneys if they're innocent?"

Am I supposed to accept this as a logical statement?

Oh, I don't know, maybe because you've already taken DNA samples and there's a lynch mob surrounding the campus? Could that be why?

Just brand the girl as a slut and move on. The more these girls think they should be considered real people the worse it is for society. Since then she's probably sucked off about 5 different guys and had a couple of taped DP's.

you SLAY me X! that's farging hilarious. Other than in reference to hoops, the words "Duke" and "athletes" don't much belong in the same sentence.....still, a jacked up story, no matter how it shakes out

What concerns me most about this story is how a lacrosse team can possibly need 47 players! Are you kidding me!?! There's only 11 players on the field at one time and they play both offense and defense. Why the hell do they need 47 players?! Do they just let any enrolled rapist join the team?

just think if this happen to the basketball team. does anyone here really think they would have canceled the season at all. i mean come on, we all know they wouldn't have.

kinda off topic here, but sorta falls under the same guidelines:

if you guys remember lawerance phillups threw some chick down a stairwell right before nebraska's national championship game, and he still played.

the lawyers say the DNA will clear Duke lacrosse players

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) -- The lawyers for Duke men's lacrosse players said Thursday that police and an outraged community will owe the team an apology after DNA tests are completed -- tests they said will prove no one on the team raped an exotic dancer.

Four attorneys representing nearly all the 46 players forced to give samples protested what they said was a presumption that their clients attacked the dancer or kept quiet about what happened. No one has been charged.

"We believe that the DNA will show that that this not true. We believe that a full and complete and fair investigation will show that it is not true," lawyer Joe Cheshire said.

Investigators are still collecting evidence, but District Attorney Mike Nifong has said in recent days he already believes a crime occurred. Even if the state crime lab's DNA analysis proves inconclusive or doesn't provide a match for any of the athletes, Nifong has said he'll have other evidence.

"If the only thing that we ever have in this case is DNA, then we wouldn't have a case," Nifong said Wednesday.

This week, university president Richard Brodhead suspended the highly ranked team from play until the school learns more about the accusations. But Cheshire said Nifong and police have created a mob mentality that has tainted the men "before the evidence has all come out in a way that they will never recover."

Nifong's office did not return calls Thursday seeking a response to the criticism.

English professor Melissa Malouf said she is one of those prepared for the DNA tests to prove inconclusive.

"I don't think the DNA is the case," she said after speaking at an outdoor protest near Brodhead's office. "Guys can wear condoms."

According to the application for a court order seeking DNA samples from the team, a nurse trained to treat rape victims and a physician who treated the woman said they witnessed symptoms consistent with sexual assault. The document also includes details of a search of the house where the woman said she was raped for about a half-hour.

"The victim's four red polished fingernails were recovered inside the residence consistent to her version of the attack. She claimed she was clawing at one of the suspect's arms in an attempt to breath (sic) while being strangled. During that time the nails broke off," the police statement said.

Officers who searched the house also recovered the woman's makeup bag, cell phone and a stack of $20 bills consistent with the woman's statement that $400 in cash was taken from her purse after the attack, the police statement said.

Police have also searched a second home occupied by lacrosse team members, but documents describing the location or what investigators found have been sealed by court order, prosecutors and police said.

The three lacrosse team members who lived at the house where the party and alleged attack occurred willingly made statements to police after the woman's complaint, Nifong said. They said "that all the attendees were their fellow Duke lacrosse team members," the police statement said.

Prosecutors asked the entire team to contribute DNA samples. When some declined on the advice of attorneys they hired, Nifong said he sought the court order for samples from all but the team's lone black member. The woman, a black student at nearby North Carolina Central, has said her attackers were white.

The case has prompted daily protests since Saturday, intensifying the undercurrents of privilege and race in a blue-collar city of 200,000 that is 44 percent black while home to one of the nation's elite universities.

"I guess one of the best ways to describe this is we have the potential for a perfect storm," North Carolina Central chancellor James Ammons said. "You have all of these issues that we're going to have to discuss."

Ammons met Thursday with Brodhead, Durham Mayor Bill Bell and several of the city's black leaders to discuss the case.

Brodhead invited about a dozen people to the meeting at Duke because "he wanted to feel the pulse of the community and he wanted our help in sharing information and our thoughts to help Duke deal with this situation," Ammons said.

Your posts are making you look an arse.

Rape is less to so with sexual gratification and more about getting power over the victim.

By your yardstick, no white guy can ever be accused of a racist murder since if they're racist there's no way that they can bear to be in close proximity to a black guy, right?

Look like I was pretty dead on. If you must know, I doubt the really did all that I say in this thread.

I told you, hookers what two things: Money and attention.

They will do what they have to for both.

Same thing with that Kobe skank. Did he do more than she wanted too? Probably.

Why did she go public with all of this? To protect her good name? Puhlease

She was a dirty whore just like this skank. I beleive even in the Kobe testimony, it was admitted she is a skanky whore.

But in the end, she got the two things she wanted; ATTENTION AND MONEY

Say what you must but I am rarely wrong. But when I am, I'll admit it.

Did you guys catch the latest scoop on this story. The chick that filed those charges against these students just had a baby yesterday. Then they announced the DNA found in her panties were not from any of the accused parties being prosecuted in this case.

Lets face fact here guys. The only reason this case has even gone this far is because that DA was running for re-election. I feel it's very wrong for public officals to try and convict innocent kids for there own personal gain.

Case is total BS. They haven't had a thing to go with and every new piece of evidence proves no rape.

The DA dropped all charges against these players today.

There was physical evidence against this kids from the start. So this was definitely a campaign ploy to assume his re-election, otherwise this guy would have never pursued this case.

They only dropped the Rape charges, the Kidnapping and Sexual Offense charges stand.

Nifong gets day in jail for criminal contempt in Duke rape case

DURHAM, N.C. -- The prosecutor who led the now-discredited rape case against three Duke University lacrosse players was held in criminal contempt of court Friday for lying to a judge when pursuing charges against the athletes.

Superior Court Judge W. Osmond Smith III sentenced Mike Nifong to a day in jail. The former Durham County district attorney, who was already stripped of his law license and had resigned from office, had faced as many as 30 days.

"If what I impose with regard to Mr. Nifong would make things better or different for what's already happened, I don't know what it would be or how I could do it," Smith said.

Nifong showed no visible reaction when Smith handed down the sentence, and he left the courtroom with his wife, Cy Gurney.

Reading his decision from the bench minutes after the end of two days of testimony, Smith said Nifong "willfully made false statements" in September when he insisted he had given the defense all results from a critical DNA test.

Smith found that Nifong had provided the defense with a DNA testing report that he knew to be incomplete. The omitted data contained test results showing that DNA of multiple men, none of whom were lacrosse players, was on the accuser.

Smith said his decision was aimed at "protecting and preserving the integrity of the court and its processes." He said truthfulness is especially important when it comes to the rights of the accused to a fair trial.

When Nifong reports to jail at 9 a.m. next Friday, it will bring an end to the criminal case that began when a woman told police she was raped at a March 2006 party thrown by Duke's lacrosse team.

The team was initially vilified as Nifong -- in his first political campaign for district attorney -- told voters he wouldn't allow Durham to become known for "a bunch of lacrosse players from Duke raping a black girl."

Nifong went on to win indictments against three players -- Reade Seligmann, Collin Finnerty and Dave Evans. But as the case against them progressed, it became clear Nifong's evidence was pitifully weak.

A state bar disciplinary committee later concluded Nifong manipulated the case to boost his chances at the ballot box, and he continued to pursue it even when it became clear the defendants were innocent.

State prosecutors eventually dropped all charges against the three men and declared them innocent victims of Nifong's "tragic rush to accuse."

Nifong recused himself after the state bar charged him with ethics violations, and he was disbarred in June for more than two dozen violations of the state's rules of professional conduct. He resigned a month later as district attorney.

Taking the stand in his own defense, Nifong insisted Friday he didn't intentionally lie about whether he had turned over the DNA evidence. But he acknowledged the report he gave defense attorneys was incomplete.

"I now understand that some things that I thought were in the report were in fact not in the report," Nifong said. "So the statements were not factually true to the extent that I said all the information had been provided."

A defense attorney found the omitted data amid 2,000 pages of documents Nifong gave the defense months after the initial report. Nifong said that by the time he realized the information wasn't in that report, "it had been corrected. The defendants already had it."

"It was never my intention to mislead this or any other court," Nifong said. "I certainly apologize to the court at this time for anything I might have said that was not correct."

Earlier Friday, the director of a private lab who prepared the DNA testing report said the omissions were a misunderstanding.

Brian Meehan said Nifong asked him to test DNA samples from lacrosse players to see whether any matched genetic material found on the accuser.

Although male DNA was found, no sample matched a lacrosse player. Results from the other unidentified men was referenced as "non-probative" material in the report given to defense attorneys, Meehan said.

Charles Davis, the attorney appointed to prosecute the contempt charge, asked Meehan whether Nifong's statement to the court -- that the report encompassed everything he had discussed with Meehan -- was true or false.

"It would be false because we don't include discussions in our reports," Meehan answered.

On Thursday, Meehan said he was the one who decided how to prepare the report stating no lacrosse player had been linked to the accuser. When Meehan was asked whether Nifong had asked him to leave anything out, Meehan answered, "No."

Defense attorney Jim Glover declined to comment after the hearing.

Finnerty's father, Kevin, said, "It's not a happy day for us, but we're thrilled the system works, that justice has happened, and we're moving on."

Joseph Cheshire, an attorney for Evans, said he felt sorry for Nifong's family, but not Nifong.

"I think what he did was willful and intentional and damaged seriously this state and the lives of these boys and their families," he said. "I don't feel sorry for Mike Nifong. Sorry if that sounds cruel, but I don't."
