Never fade a streak right? That's my thinking today despite Lincecum pitching. Tigers bats are hot and even if Lincecum shuts em down. Giants could still score very little or nothing.Comment -
I'm on the Tigers. Lincecum no doubt has been solid for SF, 8-1 with a 1.99 ERA.
But as a team SF has lost 5 of 6, and are only 3-13 their last 16 home games.
Verlander has struggled early this year, but has done better recently. His WHIP is actually better than Lincecum their last 3 starts. And if you look at Verlanders last 5 or 6 losses the tigers gave him zip for run support - garbage run support.
Detroit was won 6 straight, offense seems to be coming around, and Verlander has been respectable lately.
Give me the hot team in Detroit around even money.Comment -
