Anybody have any info? It was said SBR would consult with their lawyers but pobably just a smoke screen. I've heard very little if anything further about it. Thinking it is done for good. Any thoughts?

#2Sad to see sportsbook freeplays go by the wayside.
GIFT CARDS are worth almost 4x less for U.S. punters.Comment -

#3sure, consult with their lawyers. all lawyers are liars anyway, so why consult with them. what could they do. they're too busy running collection floors in there offices because no one ever calls them for court cases because they want too much money up front from people. yet, these fake law schools keep hatching a new bunch every year and foisting them upon society. look in the phone book sometime and see how many of these vultures exist. why would anyone go to law school. you can buy the bar exam on line, and it really only takes about 2 weeks to learn all you need to know to be a lawyer. basically learning where the court houses are so you can sue CC defaulters and the time it takes to grow a beard...Comment -

#10If they don't come back something needs to be done else the US posters Pro renewal rate will tank. If US posters are given the same amount of points as the international posters who can buy sportsbook cash they would be getting ripped off.Comment -

#11I once said it was too good to be true..Average Joes like me just wanted to buy a freebie once every few months..I got a feeling certain posters abused the privledge
well..the pizzas are still awesome..and the electronics fantastic although I am one of those guys who can never get his points to grow
Whenever my points are decent I fade my cash plays with a points play..or I buy a pizza etc
I watch dozens of posters around me with thousands of points and I just dont know how they do it
I am grateful for the time we had the free plays..It was as I said too good to be true
I doubt they will ever come backComment -

you either have 100 plus swing in your account..or you lose..but as a consolation you now have 250 points instead of 125
I figure the points are free anyways..I had thousands of posts in forumville long before points came along..I just like posting about sports and things that make me laughComment -

#22You would think they would offer a few of these cash gift cards that work at most books and give out a good incentive to use that card for that book. They need to get it ready for the football season. Mods let us know what is up with this.Comment -

#24When has a company returned something that cost them money on their own volation? The outcry was small...few people seemed to have left over it...so why would SBR be motivated to return this perk.

#32this lack of logic and common sense from sbr and their select members will keep it from coming back but heres the reason why it never should have been taken away..........
because giving free sportsbook cash and freeplays is not gambling - its only gambling when people risk real money to win real money and since nobody playing in the sbr sportsbook is risking any real money then its impossible to lose any real money hence that makes it not gambling but it is officially considered a "contest" or "sweepstakes" which (hopefully) everybody knows is perfectly legal in all 50 states.....2 good examples are the websites "centsports" and "freesportsbet" - like sbr they give their players free "virtual money" to play with but unlike sbr they will give you real money in the form of a check which is all totally legal since you cannot make any cash deposits on either site which that makes it impossibe for anybody to lose even a penny so sbr should go the same route with us americans by sendind us a check or gift card that we can convert into cash but in the UIGEA it clearly states "that it is illegal for american institutions (banks , credit unions , etc.) to allow deposits and withdraws between its customers and offshore sportsbooks in the form of cash under any currency" so where is sbr breaking the law? the answer is nowhere and heres why...........
1. sbr is not an american financial institution
2 . sbr does not allow deposits and withdraws of any kind between them and their members in the form of cash under any currency
3. sbr does not allow its players to risk any "real" cash of any currency whatsoever
in conclusion - sbr does not need to waste their time and money consulting with any lawyers since they have a legal non-profit cash-free sportsbook also they have contests and sweepstakes where everyone has a chance to win points and prizes that can be cash or have cash value without any chance of losing 1 red cent and sportsbook cash&freeplays are legally considered prizes so please sbr give us beaten and trampled americans our cash-free chance to win our legal sportsbook cash&freeplay prizes back AND also give us an option to receive a check or gift card redeemed for cash if some of us dont trust any sportsbooks (beted rings a loud bell) with the free&legal virtual cash&freeplays that we win from the sbr sportsbook & sbr contests & sbr sweepstakes .God help us allComment -
