common knowledge that Vegas dave suggested the point system. No one here invented it as its been around for about 15 years in some form online.

No Deuce invented the buffet lines at the restaurants. Before Deuce people would order from a menu.

I've always been of the opinion that DUECE get the shaft in this ordeal.
A compensation in the neighborhood of 3,500 pts seems reasonable.

Unfortunately...this picture was from several years ago. He has really "filled out" since this was taken.

BigBoyDan claimed he invented it. Funny though I don't recall any of them being around when we went through the logic scenarios and programming, planning, investment modeling leading to the full concept layout.
The points sytem as we know it today was an offshoot of the short lived poster rating, the already planned store and Bill's idea for a peer to peer concept, a concept where guys would challenge guys to single bets and heads up contest. From there the team kept advancing the concept and suggested the suite of games and poker. Later the Pro program and trivia were developed. Bottomline is the intial idea was Bill's and it was far less in scope. The concept as we know it today was a massive organizational effort with great feedback from the community.

One of Dan's suggestions of a rewards system didn't get the ball rolling? Might not of been this overall idea, but it sparked interest perhaps?
