Did anyone get Kobayashi graded as a winner?
some confusion on sites that had kobayashi as a choice, since he won via satellite.

sites without kobayashi as a choice are also getting questioned if they only had "who will eat the most hot dogs" type of wording and only had chestnut or field as the choices

i had no action on this event but i'm curious as to how this is being graded out there

5Dimes had it's props listed with "on-site contestants only."

I would have thought that (unless otherwise specified) that Kobayashi would be graded as a non-runner for any books that still had him listed, and that only the official "Nathan's Hot Dog" contestants should count.

Wtf is goin on with that tournament, you got the top 2 guys who really only have each other as competition but somehow one guy is not competing I mean its obvious Chestnut was gonna win if Kobayashi was out, what were the odds like -2000 or something?

Kobayashi wouldn't sign some agreement or contract with Nathan's so he wasn't allowed to compete.

                Chestnut was -1500 at 5Dimes.

I did see Chestnut at -350 Sunday afternoon at 365, but they did have Kobayashi listed still at that point...

so sia is the only confirmed book so far that graded kobayashi as the winner?

i saw kobayashi listed at more than a couple places, well after it was obvious he wasn't going to be onsite

They would have had to make note that Kobayashi total would count ahead of time. It wouldn't make sense any other way.

                            bush league move by sia.

                            The exact wording was..

"Nathans Hot Dog Contest - Chestnut v Kobayashi"

Obviously, Kobayashi didn't participate in the Nathans Hot Dog eating contest. therefore, no action.

sia has ruled no action on this now. kudos to them for fixing it.
