Currently deployed in Afghanistan...but today is definitely a day people here have been looking forward to. Moods are brighter, and everyone is taking some time to enjoy it.

All this negative talk about America, gets frustrating to read sometimes, but it just reminds me of people's right to voice this disagreements. Complain all you want - but I'm glad to be in Afghanistan, even on July 4th, because I get to see first-hand the progress we help this country make. It may all go to hell the day we leave, but for right now, it's people helping people baby.
