So I get home from sending a small deposit to BetIslands to give the book a try, I'm 15 minutes before game time. I'm in a huge rush so I put my best play on while my wife is nagging me to do some stupid crud which I still can't remember what it was. Bottom line here boys it hits. But I bet it the freeplay & hedged with Houston/The O/ and Colorado in my actual cash. So now I got $480 in cash that has a 8x roll over..

Instead of a nice cash out ready $480 I now have to do rollover. . I want to know if I'm not the only idiot here whose done something boneheaded. I figure I'll make the best of it & start a MLB thread with my picks trying to get the rollover finished. I'm doing ok in MLB for right now so who knows might just have a hell of a roll for football season if it starts.

Usually you add your deposit plus free play and multiply that by the rollover. example deposit 200 get 100% so 200=400 times 8 or 3200 in rollover or am I missing something?

I don't know. I have never taken a bonus before so you might be right.

I guess some sites do deposit plus free play winnings times 8. Another reason knowing the stipulations is important. I usually play BetJamaica and they are not liberal with bonuses nor do I ask for them so not hip to all the rules at each site. Either way good luck clearing the rollover and make them pay for it by winning the whole time your rolling it .

Bonuses are for "sharps" and suckers and if you're a "sharp" you don't need one... you do the math.

Yep, I think everyone who posts at these forums has done this...but like one poster said never take a bonus or freeplay...learned that lesson about 7 years ago and my world has been a lot better for it...good luck to ya...

Don't usually amke mistakes with bonuses,etc., but my wifes nagging/mouth has caused a handful of miscues over the years. Why is it that the wrong strokes on the keypad are always losers?? LOL

Hitman, my wife has cost me more money than I care to admit when it comes to nagging over the years especially with poker. Her favorite remark when I get mad about it is "You shouldn't be playing when you know I need something".

I've even tried explaining it nicely that she is costing herself money. No go. The Mind of a women is a terrible terrible thing & usually gets stuck in a one track state. It's like watching Nascar always going in one direction with a whole bunch of yelling to follow along with it.

lol u tard... u won the play just suffer the rollover... keep the money management up playing say 22-33 $ per game and soon in like a month you'll get your dough. Good hit by the way, keep it up!
