They call the National League the senior league and with the designated hitter in the American League it is more liberal.The National League would suit conservatives better while the American League is like the democrats promoting easier ways to score runs and letting feebs that can just hit stay in the game as designated hitters.
Same goes for the NFC and AFC in football where the AFC teams are the liberals with the Raiders being biker dudes etc.The uniforms from the old AFL days are even more liberal.It seems that when reading the police blogs in sports,the AFC in football is worse than the NFC and I think that holds true with all the sports I mentioned where the liberal leagues have more of a problem with players getting in trouble more.
Then you have the East and West conferences in the NHL and NBA where the western conferences are filled with the younger expansion teams that place more emphasis on wide open offense where the scores are higher.Look at the Celtics defense strategy over the Lakers etc.Look at how the Pistons keep the scores down.etc.There was actually an over and under line at the beginning of the playoffs for the Red Wings at 4.5
I even look at eastern horse racing being conservative over west coast racing being liberal in that the west has faster tracks and you get more drug use and less discipline in jockeys out west.The trainers are even more animated out west like D.Wayne Lucas.
It's almost a Caddy Shack movie situation where the liberals would put windmills and mini putt staues at Augusta for The Masters.hehe!
