    Old school UFC fights
With UFC 132 tonight, I couldn't help but think about how much i miss the early UFC fights. I grew up on this shit and todays UFC just isn't the same. Those were the days

Was pretty amazing how guys got through fighting a few times in the one-night tournaments. No breaks with rounds either - just going at it the whole time.

Today's UFC isn't like the ones of old because guys today know how to fight and don't put themselves into awful positions to get the crap beat out of them. I must admit, the very first ufc's were much more entertaining.

That's one of my all time favorite fights. The early days of ufc were great. No weight classes, no gloves, and you could wear full karate gi uniform if you wanted to.

I like the new UFC much better, it is much more tactical, then what it used to be which was basically a gloried street fight in some cases.

                    It was great.

                    They need tournaments.

                    Superfights with no weight classes.

Agreed, I think it would be pretty cool. Like an open weight grand prix

Not very likely, now that is regulated by the government.
Well I am about to head up to the bar up the street to watch this thing. Good luck all you people who put a shit load against Ortiz, I just got a feeling its gonna be a good one.
