So I just quit my job literally about 15 minutes ago. While argueing with my boss back and forth over shit, I finally said I'm going to quit. He then told me that's fine and he doesn't need me. I could tell from his tone he thought I was bluffing.

He then says, if you really are quitting, then why don't you just leave now.

So......I laughed at him and said **** YOU AARON, threw down some plates at the restaurant and walked out. He was yelling as I was leaving, but nothing he could do at that point.

Feels great

Well if its a restaurant job its probably not going on a professional resume. Or if you're not a professional you're probably not going to need a resume anyway. You probably DQ'ed yourself from unemployment benefits however.

If I was you I would apologize to my boss and ask for my job back. Your boss is human too. In this economy, companies are looking for individuals with stable work history. Even if is was a lousy job, it's beats not having a job at all.

Unless you are a big time chef working in a restaurant is a dead end job. It might end up being a good thing if you decide to get some training and or education to move up the latter. It is a bad time to quit a job but bad time or good time working in a restaurant making terrible wages and working horrendous hours is not a future I would want. Best of luck whatever you do.

I worked @ JCPennys when I was in high school. I got caught sleeping inthe dressing room, and was subsequently moved from Mens to little girls sections.I,was told to organize all of the clothes from size and color. Would have taken me 5 hours, especilly with idot cutomers taking clothes of the rack. When my boss told me that I was not working fast enough, subsequently took all the clothes off the rack and threw them in the middle of the floor. Then told my bos I was going to lunch. Now I post on SBR. Lol
