#8Jaromir Jagr is heading back to Pennsylvania but it won't be with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Instead, the veteran forward has agreed to a free-agent deal with the Philadelphia Flyers.Originally posted by DennisGreenFAIL. Jagr just signed with Pens. 1 year, 3.3 Mill.
Jagr has spent the last three seasons playing in Russia and engaged in a long back-and-forth with NHL teams, including the Penguins.
However, Pittsburgh withdrew a $2-million US, one-year deal after growing tired of waiting for a response.
Jagr started his NHL career with the Penguins in 1990 and went on to put up 646 goals and 1,599 points in 1,273 career games.

#19Good signing. I laugh at everyone in this thread that thinks he's over the hill...look at his stats from the KHL. Good to have another veteran presence on the ice besides Pronger.Comment -

#20A point per game player (What Jagr was) in the KHL is nothing special. Most AHL rejects who move over to the KHL are at least point per game players in that league. Brandon Bochenski, a perennial AHL/NHL platoon player who has been waived or traded from 7 different NHL teams over the last 5 years (guy was a bum) scored 45 points in 40 games in the KHL last season, also had 4 more goals than Jagr in 9 less games.Originally posted by Wiggums5Good signing. #21Talbot will be good to pick up some of the character we lost in losing Richards.
Jagr, Pronger in the same locker room bizarre, that same locker room being black and Orange has me wondering what planet I woke up on.
Bizarro.
