    Griffey to the Yankees?
Would this be a good or bad move?

The Yankees are pretty stacked at all the outfield positions, but even so, who would you trade for him?

Hasn't he said a trillion times that he's never play for the Yankees, or is he softening up on this stance...

Yankees don't need bats, they need pitching.

Bottom of the 8th inning in Cincy, reds down 3-4 with men on 1st and 3rd with one out to the Red Sox. New pitcher Delcarmen enters the game and gives up a hit in his first pitch and then proceeds to throw three straight balls to Griffey Jr. On the 4th pitch of a 3-0 count he swings and hits into a DP, the 4th pitch looked out of the strike zone.

He has no speed, little power, his arm is Damon-esque, does not hit for average, but, on the plus side, he makes 12+ million a year ...

(he is a nice guy, but what team in their right mind would trade for him)

The yankee's would want him just so the team could have its own team at the retirement home in 15 years.

Agree with Illusion...Yanks need arms not bats.

&It's not at all clear to me what Junior would do for the Yanks. This is not the Junior who was one of the best players in the game. He's old, slow, and injury prone. He's on the back nine of his career. Not a good move for the Yanks, IMO.
