    Whats the rules for bunting?
    Just saw a guy hit a bunt foul and it was strike 3?

      Yep, a bunt foul with 2 strikes is a strike out. Thats why you usually see the bunt taken off if there is 2 strikes.

        hmmm....dont think ive ever seen that before...you would think it would be smarter to take the bunt off after you go 0-2

              come on, aao had to have been joking. for christ sakes, this was the 1st thing we all learned in little league baseball. i swear, i knew this rule when i was 6 yrs old..


              aao had to have been joking or he is not an athlete at all and never played sports when he was young..

                  LT beat me to it. There are times when an out (pitcher batting with runner at first) is preferable to taking the bunt off and letting the pitcher hit into a double play.
