I'm sad to admit I do buy rice crispies for my kids. I never check the box for BS claims of how they "help" anybody because I'm smart enough to know I'm not feeding my kids anything healthy. I try to be a better father than that when it comes to feeding them but not everyday can I wake up ready to be super dad.

The NFL is starting to look a bit better news, but sounds like the NBA is in real danger of missing games I think - both sides are much further apart and I cant see either of them giving up much in order to get a deal made...

It is amazing with all the money flowing into the NFL they could not hire good enough negotiators years ago to hammer out a new deal before it was even remotely a problem. I wouldn't worry to much about them not being able to get a deal out before the season starts

The ******* ridiculously overpaid NBA athletes think they should have an increase in pay for a business thats losing money, the owners of several teams like Charlotte are losing millions and the players want to INCREASE their pay, fuk they cant even turn a profit at current levels.

The weird thing is that teams that are super successful like the Lakers could give their already ridiculously overpaid players a raise and then just adjust ticket prices but teams like Charlotte, Milwaukee, Minnesota etc are already fuked how could they possibly raise the salary an average of 2 million a year per player, **** these idiots, have em go over to Europe and make 300k a year instead of 5 mil in the NBA if they want
