Sbr Bash Questions Bill

PM BBD thought might be a good idea to make this public so you dont get this asked over and over Bill.

1. I make my own air travel. I will then be reimbursed 300.00 right?

2. Do I have to call The Golden Nugget and reserve my room?

3. If I want to reserve the room for thursday and pay the extra day no problem.

4. Travel from the airport, is there a shuttle or do I have to rent a car or taxi?

5. if my wife wants to attend the dinner is there a charge?

HB I've called the GN twice about Thursday night first time I talked to a lady that was not helpful at all she said get sbr to book extra night(didn't seem sensible to me) After the first call i PM'ed Bill he was going to check but i didn't here back from him, but the 2nd time i talked to someone who took the time to look sbr's reservations up and he gave me a contact person to call, her name is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX I called her once but it was late didn't get anyone im going to call her back on Monday during business hours!! Hope this helps!!

I'm not Bill, but i think i can answer your questions HB:

1. exactly

2. SBR will book all the rooms for those posters that have properly registered for the Bash

3. If you intend to go a day early you are strongly encouraged to do so, however you will need to make that reservation seperately.

4. Given the myriad of travel plans involved for all the individual posters, SBR won't be addressing travel to/from the airport. There are shuttles, taxis, limos and rental cars all readily available at the airport.

5. Every poster who has properly registered for the Bash is encouraged to bring a guest to the dinner at no charge. We do ask that during the registration process you let us know that you have a guest so we can relay that information to the catering department at the Golden Nugget.

What about Luggage...what time is checkout sunday? If its noon and we are staying until sunday night where can we leave the bags?

Checkout is noon. The front desk should be able to hold your bags until you leave Sunday evening.

Right, It's likely that they will be flexible and allow you to use your room beyond normal checkout. If they need the room they will ask you to honor the noon checkout and hold your bags at the front.

To add to #3, if you want to stay at the Nugget before or after the time SBR has reserved, you book a normal reservation for the desired dates. When checking in they will give you the SBR room for the entire stay.

Bill, when I tried to do this it didn't work that easy this is what i was told!!
