Who's ditching Direct TV with no NFL?
they hid behind the nfl, with lousy service, and incorrect bills....... The NFL has threatened the coming football season long enough, I'm getting rid of direct tv. Furthermore if they do kick off the season in time I am not going back to direct tv. Maybe if enough people do it the NFL can get rid of the ridiculous monopoly they have on where you have to go to watch their games.

Dish net works fine for me. Decent price & channels. Plus the redzone at $7 a month with free extra espn/vs's channels makes it well worth the subscription. Not everyone likes the redzone but I found it well worth the cost.

I hate directv. Horrible customer service. If there is no season, I will cancel for sure.

Unless you have DirecTV following a specific team, Red Zone is pretty good and MUCH less.

All you have to do is threaten to leave Directv or not renew Sunday ticket or any other package and they will cut the cost of the subscription. I do it every year.

It is not even close. The Red Zone is millions times better then the NFL package. It is the only way to watch NFL.I cant even watch a whole Nfl game anymore.I do admit Direct TV is much better then Dish. They had More games on HD then Dish.Last season on one night There were 12 games in the NBA and NHL on the Dish Network sports packages and only 3 were in HD.No games in Canada Flames Leafs ect were in HD.I miss Franseca but i can here him on the net.Plus Dish does not have MLB Package but i get those on the pc like right now watching A, Marlins.

not getting rid of Directv, but dropping NFL package. can get college hoops and college football packages plus MLB.tv combined for less than Sunday Ticket. have NFL season tickets and will just go to buddy's house for Sunday Ticket on the 8 sundays when i'm not going to a game. Sunday Ticket almost 350 bucks now and it's only has value for 6 hours a week.

Don't despair. There will be an NFL season. Too much $$ to be lost for both sides. Then you'll be glad you have your NFL ticket. Win a nickel the first week, and it's paid for the season (plus a BBQ & beer).
