It will be boring for sure. I think there's a shot that Greece scores on one of their corners though, if they do, they can play their boring style and ride a 1-0 finish IMO.

Greece will revert to the attacking style 4-3-3 they used for qualification, not the 2004 system of 4-5-1. When Russia played Greece in Euro 2004 it was 2-1.

Let's hope for some goals.

We think alike, even with Greece's pathetic game last time out, I think they'll be a little more aggressive in first half and make adjustments. Hopefully, they can capitalize on a corner or free kick if nothing else.

All they need is ONE goal and then they can play smothering defense.

I'd wait to see the Spain-Sweden game finish. Spain scored in the first 15 mins, and if they crush Sweden then goal difference becomes very important for the group. Russia's desire to win will depend very much on this result (eg if Sweden's goaldiff gets hurt badly here, Russia are able to qualify with a victory vs Greece and then only a draw against Sweden).


Having said that, over 2.5 goals (2.5, aka +150) for Greece-Russia does look a very nice price. Greece absolutely must win, Russia either must win or benefit heavily from it.
