      An accident isn't an excuse to try and make a lottery win for yourself. In Australia you would be laughed out of court.

      BTW, the victim was cool. He only asked for a written apology to start with, and when the company refused he just embarrassed them on TV.
      Dude, they left him on the f@*king reef. Thank God there was another boat. Thank God the guy had his head on his shoulders and didn't panic and drown. That "accident" is unacceptable. If the victim wasn't so cool, the company would have been f@*ked. For most, an incident like that could ruin their lives. One could possibly be scared of the ocean or diving for ever. Companies need to hire competent people for activities like this, lives are at stake. If the f@*king guy responsible for taking you out diving on one of the world's largest reefs can't count correctly, I don't want to trust him under the f@*king water.

        Oh I agree the operator should be punished. And if the guy had post traumatic stress problems, yeah I guess he would have rights to sue. But in this case luck meant all he got was a scarey moment before he swam for the other boat. People saying he could own the company are dreaming.
