There is always a chance for Murray to win, but not today, Nadal all the way. He is able to raise his game to match Murray. Nadal knows he is good to win another slam, and it is just a matter of whether he wants to toy around with Murray.

No such thing as a 5th set tie-break at wimbledon, though I see what you did there with the 9-7 5th set.

Murray may have a chance against a potentially non-100% nadal. But I cannot believe that he has a chance to win a Grand Slam with his consistently TERRIBLE service stats.

Murray's only problem on serve is when he drops below 50%. Otherwise, only Federer of the top4 has a better serve. He's also a lot better returner than Nadal on quicker courts.

That combo is how he knocked Nadal out of the US and Australian Open semis: free points on serve, more chances to break.

However, I'll freely admit Murray isn't as good on grass as on hard, but he's in way better form coming in this year than last, when he was way off his game.

Murray wins this match in 5 sets. The ov/un has increased from 38.5 to 41.5 (wiseguy $ made the move) at BetUs.
There is a great chance for a tie-break(increasing game count), 2007 Australia: Murray won the first set against Rafa at 7-6 then lost 4-6,6-4,3-6, 1-6.
In 2008 US Open: Murray lost in 4 with one of the sets being a tie-breaker. Rafa has won 6 of 9 tie-breaks. The longer the match continues the more likely that Rafa favors his foot problem and may well see a shift in confidence toward Murray. Last week Murray played well in the 16s, beating Gasquet with 44 winners and 10 unforced errors. Then beat F. Lopez with 40 winners and only 11 unforced. Murray was 31 for 50 at the net (drops and angled volleys, etc.)
With Fed out, Murray has to see his chance is now. Rafa has already retired in Australia vs. Andy, but will not do so against Murray in the Wimbledon semis, regardless of how far his pain injection meds take him. I am not totally relying on the possiblity of Rafa breaking down physically, but more so that Murray now has a great chance to go for the throat.

I'm thinking the Djoker/Murray final is looking very good. Djokovic will probably smoke Murray though, which is not ideal.

One thing you people don't seem to understand about Murray is that he strives to be the very best. He always puts forth his best effort and goes so hard on himself when he makes stupid mistakes. He's not one of those useless fuk's in tennis who come in to play as a -500 favorite against some scrub he should clearly beat in a blowout but lose in 2 straight sets like some of these other clowns do.. Upsets happen in Tennis, but Djokovic, Nadal and Murray are 3 of the absolute most reliable Tennis players you can count on to pull through for you because all 3 give it their absolute best each and every single time
