Is Compton,California as bad 4 gangs as the movies &documentaries make it out to be?

Anyone see The History Channel show last night on girl gang members from Compton,California?Wow,some butt ugly tough cookies there.It said every night was like 4th of July sitting on your front porch hearing pop,bang,bing,pop pop all night long.

I guess old man Williams did the right thing getting out of Dodge with the daughters.So,do these gang bangers and other residents own these houses and if so,are they worth anything where they could sell and relocate?Why not sell and get the hell out of town to small town Idaho or someplace where the cost of living is dirt cheap and the quality of life is high?

when you go out to the store to buy milk.. the odds of making it back home in one piece is only -165/+145, not more than that.


it's a better move to stay home and have your cereal with water instead of milk, at least you dont have to worry about dying. but make sure you have your 6 locks and 2 chains on your door on.

Love your posts, Brent. As for your question, "Do they own the houses", I think it is more a situation of taking them over....that or making the neighborhood so uninhabitable by society, they get it at a steal. How can you turn a profit in that neighborhood? Or get a fair price?

not as bad.. worked there on a few projects and there are good and bad parts of compton.. it is not what it is made out to be
